Comparison review
IPad (2020) has a general score of 66.6, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 global score. IPad (2020)'s construction is way thinner but a lot heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and both were released only a couple months apart. Apple iPad (2020) counts with a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much higher resolution of 1620 x 2160px, a bigger display and a better pixels amount in each inch of screen.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than iPad (2020), and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. IPad (2020) counts with a faster processor than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have 4 processing cores, the iPad (2020) also has a 64-bit CPU.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) and iPad (2020) both count with similar batteries. The Apple iPad (2020) captures much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video resolution and a way more mega pixels back facing camera.
Although Apple iPad (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPad (2020), else you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go some features and specs.
