Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than Apple iPad (2020), with a 68.5 score against 66.6. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a noticeably older and just a little bit thicker portable tablet than Apple iPad (2020), but Amazon made it lighter anyway. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a sharper screen than Apple iPad (2020), because although it has much lower brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display pixel density and a bit higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
The iPad (2020) counts with a little better hardware performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the iPad (2020) also counts with a 64 bits CPU. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a much better storage to store more apps and games than iPad (2020), because it has 32 GB more internal storage.
Apple iPad (2020) takes much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, they both have the same resolution back-facing camera.
