Comparison review
The iPad (2022) is slightly better than the Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021), having a 74.7 score against 73.2. Both of these devices come with iPadOS OS (Operating System), but iPad (2022) has newer 16.x version and Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021) has iPadOS 15.x, so it counts with a couple additional features. The iPad (2022) design has the same thickness than Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021), but it is a bit lighter.
IPad (2022) and Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021) feature extremely similar displays, because although the Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021) has a little bit worse resolution of 1620 x 2160px and a little smaller screen, and they both have the same display brightness, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density.
The iPad 10.2-inch (2021)'s storage capacity for apps and games is very similar to the iPad (2022) one, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity. The Apple iPad (2022) has a little better hardware performance than Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021). Both have a 64-bits CPU and the same number of cores.
The iPad (2022) shoots much clearer photos and videos than Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021), because it has a much bigger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in low light environments, a lot higher video quality and a way more mega-pixels camera. Apple iPad 10.2-inch (2021) counts with a much longer battery duration than iPad (2022).
