Comparison review
The Apple iPad (2022) has a general score of 74.7, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025)'s overall score of 70.4. Both tablets in this review include iPadOS OS (operating system), but the Apple iPad (2022) has older 16.x version while Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) has iPadOS 18.x.
Apple iPad (2022) has an incredibly better screen than Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025), although it has less brightness and a bit smaller screen. The iPad (2022) features a very superior processing power than iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025), because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) and Apple iPad (2022) have quite similar cameras, they have a back facing camera with a 12 MP, a same size camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates. IPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than iPad (2022), because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
IPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) has a much longer battery performance than iPad (2022).
