Comparison review
The iPad (2022) is way better than the Apple iPad mini (7th Gen), with a 74.7 score against 61. Both devices in this review have iPadOS operating system, but iPad (2022) has newer 16.x version and Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x version, giving some nice extra features and increased performance.
The Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) features a little sharper screen than iPad (2022), because although it has a bit worse 1488 x 2266 resolution and a really smaller screen, and they both have the same display brightness, the Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) also counts with a just a bit higher pixels count per screen inch.
IPad (2022) features a very superior processing power than iPad mini (7th Gen), and although they both have 6 processing cores, the iPad (2022) also has a 64 bits CPU. IPad mini (7th Gen)'s camera is just as good as the camera in iPad (2022), both have a F1.8 aperture, the same (4K) video quality, a 12 MP back-facing camera and the same video frame rate.
Apple iPad mini (7th Gen)'s storage for apps and games is very similar to the iPad (2022) one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity. IPad mini (7th Gen) has a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Apple iPad (2022).
