The iPad Air 11-inch (M3, 2025) is much better than the iPad mini (7th Gen), getting a global score of 69.6 against 61. Both tablets in this review include iPadOS OS (operating system), but iPad Air 11-inch (M3, 2025) has the newer 18.x version while iPad mini (7th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x, so it counts with some extra features.
Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) features an incredibly better display than iPad Air 11-inch (M3, 2025), although it has a really smaller display, they both have the same display brightness. IPad Air 11-inch (M3, 2025) has a little bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad mini (7th Gen), because it has 2 more MHz cores.
IPad Air 11-inch (M3, 2025) has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than iPad mini (7th Gen), because it has 128 GB internal memory. The iPad mini (7th Gen)'s camera is very similar to Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M3, 2025)'s camera, both of them have the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same resolution camera and the same video frame rates.
The Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M3, 2025) counts with a much better battery duration than Apple iPad mini (7th Gen).
