Both tablets in our current comparison come with iPadOS OS (Operating System), but the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) has newer 16.x version and iPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x, so it gives you a lot of extra features and a performance increase.
