The Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) is just a bit better than the Apple iPad mini (6th Gen), with a overall score of 70.4 against 65. The Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) construction is noticeably newer and thinner, but incredibly heavier than the Apple iPad mini (6th Gen). Both tablets in this review have iPadOS operating system, but the Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) has 18.x version while Apple iPad mini (6th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x version, counting with some nice extra features.
The Apple iPad mini (6th Gen) features a way better looking screen than Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025), although it has a much smaller display and less brightness. The iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) features a little bit better performance than iPad mini (6th Gen), because it has more cores. The iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than iPad mini (6th Gen), because it has more internal memory.
