The iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) has a global score of 70.4, which is much better than Apple iPad mini (7th Gen)'s 61 general score. Both of these devices use iPadOS OS, but the iPad Air 13-inch (M3, 2025) has the newer 18.x version while Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x version, providing the user a lot of extra features.
