These tablets use iPadOS OS, but the iPad Air (2020) has the previous 14.x version and iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x. The Apple iPad Air (2020) features a much greater processing power than iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen), because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
