IPad mini (2019) has an overall score of 85.9, which is much better than the Apple iPad Air (2020)'s general score of 71.7. Both tablets in this comparison work with iPadOS OS (Operating System), but iPad mini (2019) has the previous 13.x version and Apple iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x. The iPad mini (2019) construction has the same thickness than Apple iPad Air (2020), but it's a lot lighter.
Apple iPad mini (2019) counts with a bit better processor than Apple iPad Air (2020), and although they both have a 64-bit CPU, the Apple iPad mini (2019) also has more cores.
