The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) has a global score of 80.2, which is much better than the Apple iPad Air (2020)'s 71.7 general score. These tablets use iPadOS OS, but the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) has 16.x version and Apple iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) design is noticeably newer than Apple iPad Air (2020)'s, but it is just a little thicker and incredibly heavier.
IPad Air (2020) has a lot better performance than iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022), because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processor. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) features just a bit better looking screen than Apple iPad Air (2020), because it has a better 2048 x 2732px resolution, a larger screen, a bit higher amount of pixels in each display inch and a really brighter screen.
The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) has a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad Air (2020), because it has more internal memory capacity. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) features a much better battery duration than iPad Air (2020). Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022) features a camera that's just as good as iPad Air (2020)'s camera, both of them have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same size camera aperture and a camera with a 12 megapixels.
