The iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) has a global score of 74.8, which is slightly better than the iPad Air (2020)'s global score of 71.7. These tablets come with iPadOS operating system, but the iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) has a more recent 16.x version while iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x version, so it gives lots of additional features.
Apple iPad Air (2020) features a lot better hardware performance than iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024), because although it has lesser cpu cores , it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. Apple iPad Air (2020) counts with a more vivid display than iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024), although it has a just a bit worse display density, a quite smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1640 x 2360 pixels.
IPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad Air (2020), because it has more internal memory capacity. Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024)'s battery life is very similar to the battery life in Apple iPad Air (2020). The iPad Air (2020) shoots much better photographs and videos than iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024). They have the same video quality, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and a 12 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Although iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) is a better device, it costs a lot more than iPad Air (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPad Air (2020). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024), but if you don't you can save some money and buy the iPad Air (2020), resigning a couple features and specifications.
