IPad Air (2020) has a global score of 71.7, which is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 score. The iPad Air (2020) counts with iPadOS 14.x OS, while Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT OS. The iPad Air (2020) is a much newer tablet device, and it's also much lighter and extremely thinner than Microsoft Surface RT.
The iPad Air (2020) has a superior performance than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a 64-bits processing unit. The Apple iPad Air (2020) features a more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 1640 x 2360 and way more pixels per inch of screen.
Microsoft Surface RT has as much memory for apps and games as Apple iPad Air (2020), both have equal internal memory. Apple iPad Air (2020) captures way better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a way higher video quality and a camera with a way higher resolution. The Microsoft Surface RT's battery lifetime is very similar to Apple iPad Air (2020)'s battery life.
