The iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab A (2016) comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. IPad Air (2020)'s design is way newer and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s, although it is also incredibly heavier.

IPad Air (2020) has an extremely better processing unit than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a higher number of cores and a 64-bit processing unit. IPad Air (2020) counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a bit better screen density, a much higher 1640 x 2360px resolution and a lot bigger display.
