Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much better than Apple iPad Air (2020), getting a 79 score against 71.7. Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 and the Apple iPad Air (2020) were only released with a couple months difference, Galaxy Tab Active 3's construction is noticeably thicker but a bit lighter. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has Android 10 operating system, and Apple iPad Air (2020) comes with iPadOS 14.x operating system.
The iPad Air (2020) counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has less processing cores , it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The iPad Air (2020) features a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a little lower pixel density, it also counts with a better 1640 x 2360 resolution and a really bigger display.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than iPad Air (2020), and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1 TB. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a much longer battery lifetime than Apple iPad Air (2020).
Apple iPad Air (2020) has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab Active 3, although it has a camera with less mega pixels resolution and a worse (4K) video resolution.
