IPad Air (2022) has a global score of 81.4, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018)'s overall score of 77. IPad Air (2022)'s body is a lot newer, a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018). The Apple iPad Air (2022) has just a little better performance than Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM.
The Apple iPad Air (2022) has a slightly better screen than Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), and although they both have the same count of pixels in each inch in the display, the Apple iPad Air (2022) also has a bit higher 1640 x 2360px resolution and a quite bigger screen. The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) counts with much more memory for applications and games than iPad Air (2022), because it has 64 GB more internal memory.
