Apple iPad mini (2019) has a score of 85.9, which is a lot better than Apple iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen)'s 60.6 score. Both tablets in our current comparison have iPadOS operating system, but Apple iPad mini (2019) has the older 13.x version and Apple iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x.
The iPad mini (2019) features a very superior processing unit than iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen), because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad mini (2019) also counts with a 64-bits CPU. IPad mini (2019) counts with a much more vibrant screen than iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen), because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a really smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
The iPad mini (2019) features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen), because it has 256 GB internal memory. The iPad mini (2019) has a much longer battery duration than Apple iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen). The iPad mini (2019) takes much better photos and videos than iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen), although it has a way smaller aperture which is worse for shooting photos and video in low light situations and a much less megapixels back facing camera.
