IPad mini (2019)'s construction is a lot lighter but just a little bit thicker than the Galaxy Tab S5e, and both were only released with a couple months difference. The iPad mini (2019) works with iPadOS 13.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab S5e counts with Android 10 operating system.
The Apple iPad mini (2019) counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, because although it has a little lower 1536 x 2048px resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch.
