IPad mini (7th Gen) is a little bit better than Apple iPad Air 11-inch (6th Gen), getting a 61 score against 60.9. Both of these tablets include the same iPadOS 15.x OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. The Apple iPad Air 11-inch (6th Gen) has a little better processing power than iPad mini (7th Gen), because it has a larger number of MHz cores.
The Apple iPad mini (7th Gen) counts with a brighter display than Apple iPad Air 11-inch (6th Gen), because although it has a way smaller display and a little lower 1488 x 2266 resolution, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
