The iPad Air (2022) has an overall score of 81.4, which is way better than iPad mini (7th Gen)'s 61 general score. Both of these devices use the same iPadOS 15.x OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that. IPad mini (7th Gen) has a bit more vivid display than iPad Air (2022), because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1488 x 2266 pixels and a lot smaller display, and they both have the same screen brightness, the iPad mini (7th Gen) also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
