Both tablets in this review come with iPadOS operating system, but the iPad mini (A17 Pro) has newer 18.x version while iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x. IPad mini (A17 Pro) counts with a lot better looking screen than iPad Air 12.9 -inch (6th Gen), because although it has a much smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1488 x 2266, it also counts with a higher display density.
