The Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro) has an overall score of 63.3, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 overall score. The Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro) comes with iPadOS 18.x OS, and Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS. Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro)'s construction is way thinner and incredibly lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT.
The Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro) counts with a much better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1488 x 2266 pixels and a much higher screen pixel density. IPad mini (A17 Pro) features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory.
Microsoft Surface RT features an extremely better processing unit than iPad mini (A17 Pro), because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with an extra GPU. Microsoft Surface RT and iPad mini (A17 Pro) have quite similar battery durations. The Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro) takes much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a camera with a much higher 12 MP resolution and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Although iPad mini (A17 Pro) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the iPad mini (A17 Pro), else you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning some specs and features.
