Apple iPad Pro 11-inch is better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, with a general score of 80.4 against 68.5. Apple iPad Pro 11-inch's construction is newer and thinner than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's, but it's heavier. IPad Pro 11-inch features a bit faster processor than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster).
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a much better display than iPad Pro 11-inch, because although it has much worse brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and more pixels per display inch.
