IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) has an overall score of 81.1, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5's general score of 74.5. Even though the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 were only released 3 months apart, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018)'s construction is incredibly thinner but also heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5.
IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) also has more RAM memory. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has a way better 2048 x 2732px resolution, a little bit greater count of pixels in each display inch and a larger screen.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018), because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 400 GB. The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) counts with longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has 9720mAh of battery capacity against 7300mAh.
The Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) captures better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has a camera in the back with a way better 12 mega-pixels resolution, a much better video resolution and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and video.
Although iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A 10.5. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, letting go some features and specs.
