The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) has an overall score of 81.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 global score. Even though the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) is older and much heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), it's construction is still somewhat thinner. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a way larger display and a way higher resolution of 2048 x 2732. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a way higher resolution camera, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018), because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB. Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a 9720mAh battery capacity.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018), but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), resigning a couple specs and features.
