The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) has an overall score of 81.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 global score. Even though the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) is older and much heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), it's construction is still somewhat thinner. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a way larger display and a way higher resolution of 2048 x 2732. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a way higher resolution camera, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
