Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) is just a bit better than iPad (2022), getting a 74.8 score against 74.7. Both of these tablets use the same iPadOS 16.x OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. The Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) body is notably lighter and way thinner than iPad (2022).
The iPad (2022) has a much better display than iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen), although it has a quite smaller screen, a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a bit lower resolution of 1640 x 2360 pixels. The Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) has a superior memory for applications and games than Apple iPad (2022), because it has 256 GB internal storage.
IPad (2022) has a way better performance than iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen), because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
