Comparison review
The iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) is a bit better than the iPad Air (2020), with a general score of 74.8 against 71.7. Both of these tablets have iPadOS operating system, but the iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) has 16.x version while iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x version, so it offers lots of additional features and increased performance.
Apple iPad Air (2020) has a brighter display than Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen), although it has a just a little less pixels per display inch, a quite smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1640 x 2360. The iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Apple iPad Air (2020), because it has 256 GB internal memory.
IPad Air (2020) counts with a lot better processing power than iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen), because although it has lesser CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processor. Apple iPad Air (2020) and Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) count with very similar battery performance. Apple iPad Air (2020) shoots better photographs and videos than Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen). Both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition.
Although iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the iPad Air (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPad Air (2020). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen), else you can save some money and get the iPad Air (2020), letting go a couple features and specifications.
