The iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) has a score of 74.8, which is much better than Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 overall score. The iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) is a way lighter and way thinner tablet than the Microsoft Surface 3. Microsoft Surface 3 features a way better performance than iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen), although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and 4 GB less RAM memory.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a screen that's just as good as the screen in iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen), although the Microsoft Surface 3 has a just a little lower screen pixels density, a lot lower 1920 x 1280 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen. Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) shoots much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has a back camera with a way better resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has more internal storage. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery performance in iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen).
Although Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (7th Gen) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface 3. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Microsoft Surface 3, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
