Comparison review
Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) is just a bit better than the iPad Air (2020), with a 74.8 score against 71.7. Both tablets we compare here have iPadOS OS (Operating System), but Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) has the newer 16.x version while iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x, so it provides some nice extra features and performance enhancements.
The iPad Air (2020) features a much better looking screen than Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024), although it has a quite lower 1640 x 2360 resolution, a quite lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a little smaller screen. The iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) has much more memory to install games and applications than Apple iPad Air (2020), because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
IPad Air (2020) has a lot better performance than iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024), because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit. IPad Air (2020)'s battery lifetime is just as good as Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024)'s battery duration.
Apple iPad Air (2020) shoots much better videos and photos than Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024). They have the same video definition, the same video frame rate and a same resolution camera.
Although Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the iPad Air (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPad Air (2020). If you are trying to save some money, you can get iPad Air (2020), and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
