The Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch has a global score of 80, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 general score. The Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch is an a lot older and a lot heavier device than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but Apple made it somewhat thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) and Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch both have very similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower 1200 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little bit better display pixels density.
Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a CPU that is very similar to the iPad Pro 9.7-inch one, although the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has more RAM memory and more cpu cores. The iPad Pro 9.7-inch shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a camera with lot more mega-pixels and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

IPad Pro 9.7-inch has a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a 46 percent larger battery size.
IPad Pro 9.7-inch costs more than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
