IPad Pro 9.7-inch has an overall score of 80, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4's 74.5 overall score. The iPad Pro 9.7-inch design is newer and just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4's, but it is noticeably heavier. IPad Pro 9.7-inch counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has lesser RAM and a lower number of cores (although they are faster).
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much sharper display than iPad Pro 9.7-inch, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity in each inch in the display and a slightly better 2560 x 1600 resolution. IPad Pro 9.7-inch shoots way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a much higher video quality.
The Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch has a much better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity. IPad Pro 9.7-inch counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 7306mAh battery capacity instead of 4900mAh.
Although iPad Pro 9.7-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy iPad Pro 9.7-inch, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, letting go some features and specs.
