Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a lot better than the Asus Fonepad 7 ME372CG, with a overall score of 67.9 against 55.2. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.4 version and Asus Fonepad 7 ME372CG has Android 4.2 version, offering a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 construction is newer and extremely thinner, but also a bit heavier than the Asus Fonepad 7 ME372CG.
