Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is better than Asus MeMO Pad 7's 53.8 general score. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has 7.1 Nougat version while Asus MeMO Pad 7 has Android 4.4.2, providing you some additional features. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's design is notably thinner but just a little bit heavier than Asus MeMO Pad 7.

The Asus MeMO Pad 7 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 counts with an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1280 x 800px and a higher number of pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a camera that is very similar to Asus MeMO Pad 7's camera, both of them have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a same resolution back camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little bit more memory for applications and games than Asus MeMO Pad 7, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a very superior battery lifetime than Asus MeMO Pad 7.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 costs a bit more than Asus MeMO Pad 7, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
