Comparison review

Sony Tablet S is just a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 7, with a score of 57.5 against 53.8. Despite being the best tablet in this comparison, the Sony Tablet S is a incredibly heavier and a little bit thicker tablet than Asus MeMO Pad 7. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Tablet S has the previous 4.0 version while Asus MeMO Pad 7 has Android 4.4.2.

The Asus MeMO Pad 7 features a brighter screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Asus MeMO Pad 7 also counts with a greater pixel quantity per inch of display. Asus MeMO Pad 7 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus MeMO Pad 7 also has a greater number of faster cores.

The Sony Tablet S features more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 7, because although it has an external SD slot that allows 32 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Sony Tablet S features a really longer battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 7.

The Sony Tablet S captures better pictures and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 7. Both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back-facing camera.

Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus MeMO Pad 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus MeMO Pad 7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Tablet S, else you can save some dollars and buy the Asus MeMO Pad 7, resigning a couple specs and features.
