Xperia Tablet Z has a score of 68.5, which is much better than the Asus MeMO Pad 7's global score of 53.8. The Xperia Tablet Z construction is heavier but much thinner than the Asus MeMO Pad 7. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Asus MeMO Pad 7 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a bit more vivid screen than Asus MeMO Pad 7, because it has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a much bigger display and a just a little greater pixels quantity in each inch in the display. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features just a bit better performance than Asus MeMO Pad 7, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has an additional graphics processing unit and more RAM.
The Xperia Tablet Z shoots clearer photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a much more MP back-facing camera. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 7, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Xperia Tablet Z has a really longer battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 7.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus MeMO Pad 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus MeMO Pad 7. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia Tablet Z, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Asus MeMO Pad 7, resigning a couple features and specs.
