Asus MeMO Pad 8 has an overall score of 61.2, which is just a bit better than HP ProPad 600's 58.2 general score. Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a thinner and way lighter tablet than HP ProPad 600, even though both were released only 3 months apart. Asus MeMO Pad 8 works with Android 4.4 operating system, while HP ProPad 600 counts with Windows 8.1 operating system.

HP ProPad 600 has a display that's just as good as Asus MeMO Pad 8's screen, because although the HP ProPad 600 has a bit lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same 1200 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a larger display. Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little bit better processing power than HP ProPad 600, although it has less RAM, they both have 4 cpu cores.

HP ProPad 600 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a back camera with a way higher 8 MP resolution. HP ProPad 600 features just a bit bigger storage for apps and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

HP ProPad 600 features a very superior battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 costs a bit more money than the HP ProPad 600, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
