Microsoft Surface Go has a score of 66.5, which is slightly better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's overall score of 61.2. Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 operating system, and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 operating system. Although the Microsoft Surface Go is way newer than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, it's incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a much better looking display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a higher pixels density. Microsoft Surface Go features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit more powerful processor than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 and the Microsoft Surface Go feature very similar batteries performance. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with a little bit better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a much more MP camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus MeMO Pad 8. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Asus MeMO Pad 8, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
