Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a global score of 65.1, which is a little bit better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 global score. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 operating system. Despite being the best we are comparing, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 construction is incredibly thicker and incredibly heavier than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels count per screen inch and a slightly better resolution of 1920 x 1200px. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has just a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more processing cores.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 takes way better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rates. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal storage.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and Asus MeMO Pad 8 have incredibly similar battery durations.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus MeMO Pad 8. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
