Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, having a global score of 72.2 against 61.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Asus MeMO Pad 8 comes with Android 4.4 operating system. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Microsoft Surface Pro 3's body is thicker and incredibly heavier than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores. Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel count in each inch of screen.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 both have really similar cameras, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a lot higher 1920x1080 video definition, they both have a same resolution back-facing camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more memory for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3's battery lifetime is very similar to Asus MeMO Pad 8's battery life.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up some specifications.
