Comparison review

The Nokia N1 has a score of 66, which is a little bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's general score of 61.2. The Nokia N1 design is a little heavier but just a little thinner than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and they were only released with a couple of months difference. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Nokia N1 has a more recent 5.0 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version, providing you some additional features and performance tweaks.

The Nokia N1 counts with a sharper display than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and a little higher amount of pixels in each inch in the display. The Nokia N1 features a superior processor than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount, the Nokia N1 also has an additional graphics processor and a 64 bits processing unit.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Nokia N1, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB. The Nokia N1 counts with a way better battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Nokia N1 captures a bit better photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a much more mega-pixels back camera and a lot higher video definition.

Although Nokia N1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Nokia N1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, resigning a couple features and specifications.
