The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a global score of 77.4, which is way better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 global score. Despite being the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) body is older, a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier than the Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has newer 4.4.2 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a bit more powerful processor than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a GPU and a higher amount of RAM. The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a bit sharper screen than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a better 1600 x 2560 resolution, a bigger screen and a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
