Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, having a general score of 62.5 against 61.2. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has the previous 3.1 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version. Although it's the best we compare here, Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's design is thicker and a lot heavier than the Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a better display than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen. Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 64 GB.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a superior battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a lot higher 5 MP resolution back-facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus MeMO Pad 8. If you want to save some money, you can get Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
