The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is slightly better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, getting a global score of 67 against 61.2. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives you a couple additional features. Although it's the best we compare here, it must be noted that it's also extremely heavier and a bit thicker.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a better screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way higher screen pixels density and a much higher 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 takes slightly better videos and photos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it has a lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much worse 3 mega pixels resolution. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
