Comparison review

Galaxy Tab A8 is slightly better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, getting a 62.6 score against 61.2. Although the Galaxy Tab A8 is much heavier than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, it's a bit thinner and also incredibly newer. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A8 has a more recent 11 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, providing you some extra features.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a much powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (but faster). Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch.

The Galaxy Tab A8 has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy Tab A8 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has a much better battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
