Asus MeMO Pad 8 has an overall score of 61.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab E's general score of 60.7. Both of these tablets include the same Android 4.4 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding that. Even though the Asus MeMO Pad 8 is older than the Galaxy Tab E, it's design is much lighter and somewhat thinner.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has more RAM memory. Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a much better display than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much greater screen density and a way higher 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 24 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab E shoots much better photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both have the same video definition, the same resolution back camera and the same video frame rate.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a much better battery lifetime than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
