The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a general score of 64.9, which is just a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a newer portable tablet than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, providing you some additional features and performance optimizations.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 and more pixels per display inch. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a greater amount of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 shoots greater photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8. They have the same video frame rates, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 1280x720 video definition. Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a way better battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
