The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a incredibly newer tablet device, and it is also way thinner and incredibly lighter than the Sony Tablet S. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a newer 4.4 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version.
