Comparison review

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a general score of 61.2, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Tablet S's overall score of 58.9. Both devices in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has 4.4 version while Sony Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version. Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a newer device, and it's also notably lighter and thinner than Sony Xperia Tablet S.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a brighter display than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a lot greater number of pixels per inch of display. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit faster processor than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 4 cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also counts with more RAM.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a camera with way less megapixels. Xperia Tablet S features a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

Sony Xperia Tablet S's battery lifetime is just as good as the Asus MeMO Pad 8 one.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 is not only the best devices in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
