Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is slightly better than the Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi, getting a global score of 63.4 against 58.5. Both of these tablets come with Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface 2 has the newer RT 8.1 version while Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi has Windows 8.1, so it counts with some extra features and a performance increase. Microsoft Surface 2 is a somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker tablet than the Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi.
The Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi features a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixel count in each inch in the display and a bit higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
